Meet our beautiful dogs. Thank you for your interest in adopting!
Annie
English Bulldog, ,Meet Annie! This 3-year-old English Bulldog/French Bulldog/Pittie blend weighs 50 lbs. This loving, snuggly girl hopes that the sun will come out tomorrow and she’ll finally meet her forever family.
- General Behavior: Annie loves all adult humans she meets! She only wants to lean into them or climb into their lap and be loved on. She is very strong when she leans, plays, and walks, so she needs a sturdy and physically capable person to handle her. She is a HUGE snuggler and will lay her chunky block head on your lap to snore away loudly, whether she is asleep or not. She is an intense kisser, so be warned she will try to smother your face! She absolutely follows her people around and begs to go out on car rides when she thinks you're going out.
- Likes & Dislikes: In addition to playing and snuggling and hanging out with her people, Annie also loves food! Her family will need to take care not to overfeed this sweet girl with puppy dog eyes. She also enjoys running in very short sprints for a few seconds and thrives when she plays tug of war. Annie has a lot of fun playing with her chew sticks or giant kongs, too.
- Training: Annie is becoming a little lady! She is housetrained if let out frequently. She needs a bit more practice walking on a leash, but she is well behaved in the car, can sleep in a dog bed or in the people bed at night, and generally has good basic manners.
- Medical: Annie has environmental allergies sometimes. She needs mild maintenance for her allergies, like wiping her paws every couple of days with antimicrobial pads and cleaning her facial folds daily. Other than that, she’s a healthy girl who just needs monthly flea and heartworm preventatives like any dog.
- Other Animals: Annie is very selective about which dogs she likes, and she spooks around big or active dogs. She’d love having her person all to herself or she would have to be carefully introduced to any potential fur siblings. On the other hand, she is good with cats.
- Children: Annie is a strong gal, so she needs a home with sturdy teens or adults only.
- Home: Annie would do well in a condo or single-family home.
- Grooming: Annie is a low maintenance girl who just needs the occasional bath. She is very well-behaved for baths.
- Overall: Annie will make a loving, snuggly, playful companion for an active family who can love this goofy girl as much as she will love them.
Do you look around your home and think Annie would like it here? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with her foster family if it’s a potential match. She is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption donation is $375.

- Children: Oreo and Bear are mild-mannered and gentle around children of all ages.
- Home: Bear would do well in a single-family home with a fence so he could run around in the yard and chase lizards and so his sister could sunbathe.

- Overall: This beautiful, sweet boy and his sister, Oreo, will make a best friend for one lucky family!
As their name suggests, Oreo and Bear are a sweet, brave pair. Can you make their dream come true by giving them a loving home where they can stay together forever? show lessBundy
Pomeranian, Spitz Types (Medium),Meet Bundy! You may remember Al Bundy as a character from an 80s sitcom, but our Bundy is a character in real life! Bundy is a Pomeranian-Spitz mix. He is 3 years old and weighs just under 12 pounds.
- General Behavior: Bundy’s foster describes him as a laid-back and easy-going pup. He can often be found right by his human’s side, eager for attention and ear scratches. He wants to be a part of everything that his family does; being involved and feeling loved is what makes him happy.
- Likes & Dislikes: Bundy loves attention and especially enjoys getting pets. He loves to cuddle, sleep in the “people bed” at night, and go for strolls around the neighborhood. Bundy is not a fan of being left home alone and experiences anxiety when his family is away. He prefers his family to be home more often than not. Bundy is also a big fan of the beach!
- Training: Bouncy Bundy has good basic manners and leash walking skills, making him highly sought after for neighborhood walks. He has done well with his housetraining, especially when let out frequently and on a schedule. He is working on managing his anxiety when home alone.
- Medical: Bundy is healthy and will only require his monthly heartworm and flea preventative.
- Other Animals: Bundy gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. He has not been tested around cats, but the foster feels he would be okay with them.
- Children: Bundy should be a great fit with children of any age, as long as they are patient and respectful.
- Home: A single-family home or dog-friendly apartment would be suitable for Bundy. Due to his dislike of being left home alone, he will require a family that is home more often than not, able to provide him with the attention and love he needs and desires. As a young and active pooch, he will require either daily walks or a secure, fenced-in yard for exercise.
- Grooming: Bundy has a thick coat that will require frequent brushing and professional grooming. The cost of grooming for a pup of his size and breed is approximately $65+. Any potential families should be aware of this recurring expense.
- Overall: Bundy is an amazing dog who loves getting attention and giving it in return. A family with lots of love to offer him and who is home more often than not will be a wonderful match!
Are you the one for Bundy? Visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org, where you will find the application to adopt. You'll be put in contact with his foster family if it's a potential match. Permanent Residents
Some of our dogs will stay in our care forever. Some have been through so much change and trauma in their lives that putting them through more change isn’t in their best interest, others may have medical needs or need hospice care – these dogs will remain in PPR foster care for the rest of their lives as Permanent Residents.
Apply To foster

When you invite a dog into your home, you provide the love, patience, and guidance to a little dog in need, and Poodle and Pooch Rescue provides the rest!
